We provide local representation for Northern Ireland’s IT professionals, and promote IT in the wider community. The branch maintains a strong link with local schools, colleges and universities promoting the discipline of computer science.

UKGovCamp

UKGovcamp is about people giving up their time to talk, listen and think about how digital is changing the way government works in the UK. UKGovcamp is an unconference – a free-to-attend conference without a predefined agenda, where the sessions are proposed and agreed at the start of the day. Jeremy Gould started UKGovcamp back in 2008. It was held at Google and 93 people attended. Since then the numbers have grown, but spirit has remained the same.
